Tormach Tech Days

Village Press attended Tormach’s event last year in Waunakee, WI (when it was still an “Open House”) and we are headed back this year for more fun.

PhotoTormach has expanded the event to two days; day one (Friday, August 4) will be dedicated to educating attendees on the basics of CNC and machining. This will be a busy day of hands-on learning with Tormach’s experts in CAM software, milling, and lathe operations. A reception will close out the day. These inexpensive workshops require advance registration at www.tormachtechdays.com – hurry, Friday’s workshops are filling up!

PhotoSaturday is a free, open to the public event and will showcase everything that encompasses Tormach as a company; from interesting and entertaining customers and celebrity brand ambassadors to technical Q&A sessions with the Tormach technical support and engineering teams.

Some highlights of Saturday’s event include:

  • Guest speakers, including Tormach Brand Ambassadors John Saunders, Ray Billings, Robert Cowan, and the Hacksmith
  • Technical presentations with Tormach machining experts
  • Discount tooling sale
  • Customer showcases
  • Expert Q&As

Village Press, as well as other vendors, will be in attendance on Saturday, August 5. Stop by and say hello to George and Kelly and save some money on your book and subscription purchases while there. We are looking forward to seeing you in Wisconsin next month!

The event is being held at the Waunakee High School (just north of Madison) on August 4th and 5th, with Saturday being free to all. Doors will be open on Saturday from 9-5.
